I'm looking for a picture of NYPD Officer Smolka's arrest of Lisa Kozlowski in Union Square during the 4/29/05 Critical Mass ride.
Ms. Kozlowski was straddling her bike and walking it out of the park when Ofc. Smolka grabbed and arrested her. The story is told here:

I remember seeing a picture either in print or on the web of Smolka holding onto this woman, really yelling at her, surrounded by cops and other riders.

NYPL doesn't archive New York Newsday, either in print or electronically. I searched google images, of course, but to no avail. I think this person may have to contact NYN for a print copy himself.

I think Newsday will sell you a copy for $2.95 (maybe cheaper than driving to a library and parking - but you may well be able to get a photocopy, though not too high quality, and no doubt 2-3 weeks wait, from Interlibrary loan via your local public library)
