What procedural steps should an adult in California follow in order to obtain full access to complete and uncensored records of court proceedings (in Contra Costa County, in the early 1970s) that led to his or her custodial birth parent losing all legal parental rights, with the child being placed into foster care? |

I am working on an MLIS research paper. The Denver fotonovela fight raises important questions of access and collection defense. To my knowledge, this is the first time an upfront attack on immigrants has popped on the convenient mask of concern over sexual and violent materials. But perhaps you know of others. Historical would be fine - recent or otherwise. |

Another paper (required management course- due in 3 weeks!!!)will focus on challenge policies themselves as guides to decision making. I want an actual materials challenge case that confronted a library with an elaborate policy that dots every i, and to contrast that with a case where there was virtually no policy. Then I can posit the in-betwen one that lays out the essential bones and leaves implementation details to the people involved. |

I'm looking for a video on the Green Belt movement in Kenya, initiated by Professor Maathai who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004. There are some clips on the Internet, but I'm looking for a documentary or video of at least 30-60 minutes. |
