Interference Archive work day, Sunday November 18, 12-5
131 8th st. #4, Brooklyn, NY 11215 (2 blocks from F/G/R trains at 4th ave./9th st.)
Archivists, Librarians & LIS students are invited to apply their mad skills* to getting intellectual control over the diverse holdings at the archive of social movement materials: posters, flyers, publications, photographs, moving images, audio recordings, and other printed matter.
Helpful, but not required: a computer that will allow you to edit an ods or xls file. Note: iPads were not particularly useful last time.
Come late; leave early; bring preservation materials and/or money to donate and/or just your rad self (and your portable computing device). Email Jenna for more info or to RSVP.
*Actually mad skills are not required. In this round of description, we're identifying only the most basic information about the contents of each box of radical deliciousness.
