my new favorite political cartoonist

I can't remember where I discovered Minimum Security cartoons, but surely it was from a library list or blog. These two comics will be of particular interest to librarians:

Library Card
Reading

Aside from the fact that I think that this is some of the best political cartooning I have ever seen, I'm blogging about this because as a small press title, the book wasn't very widely reviewed, and I'd like to see it get attention from library workers with collection development responsibilities. According to WorldCat, currently only 3 libraries have this book: LC, Phoenix PL, and Dartmouth College. So far I've only found reviews in Off Our Backs and Broken Pencil

PLUS you gotta love how the author raised a bunch of money for abortion clinics in the northern midwest with this brazen and hilarious cartoon about South Dakota anti-abortion Senator Bill Napoli.
