It is unfortunate that you have been disappointed with the results we have provided - though some of the materials listed by the archivist who provided the list found below are unique to the John Jay Library collection and might be worth a closer look as they are not all "mainstream" - and the best I personally can do to add to what is here is to suggest that you reach out to the folks at the ABC NoRio Zine Library or perhaps the Tamiment Library to see if they have some primary source materials related to the riots.

This is a challenging question, as such material is often not collected, to the extent that any documentation is produced.
