QUESTION: Racism and Discrimination in the Workplace

Greetings

Doing research project on Racism and discrimination in the Work Place. I'm in need of help locating biblography citations on this topic. 10 books 15 periodicals 5 web-sites. Any and all asstiance you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

For books, a good place to start is WorldCat, a combined catalog of many libraries. Try using keyword searches such as [racism labor] or [diversity workplace] - put the words in brackets into the search box. You'll get a list of books that might be useful. It's interesting to see which types of books come up using different terms. "Diversity" tends to get more business-friendly books, while "racism" gets more politically oppostional books. Here are some titles that I picked from a couple such searches. You should investigate on your own to see if any are useful:

You probably have access to some databases through your school or public library. A search for "discrimination in employment" in EBSCOhost's Academic Search Premier gets 3537 hits, and you could narrow it to articles that are also about "race discrimination" quite easily. Any other general news database or social sciences database would also be a good place to search for journal articles.
