QUESTION: Successful Youth Activism in the past year

I need to know what examples of successful youth activism have taken place during the past year, which involved issues such as racial equality in education, immigration or any other area.

The Bushwick 32 won their case, and then sued the city for racial profiling and won that too.

They organized and formed a group called The Student Coalition Against Racial Profiling (S.C.A.R.P)-- website is here:

The Youth for Car Free Parks worked all summer getting signatures to make Prospect park (Brooklyn) car-free. Although cars are still driving in the park, they gathered thousands of signatures and walked over the bridge, some dressed as trees, to deliver them personally to City Hall at a very successful press conference.
