A Saturday Symposium, slated to take place on Saturday, May 1,
2010 at 1:00 PM in Room 609 at
the Pratt Manhattan Campus (144 West 14th Street on the
6th floor).
All are welcome; attendees not affiliated with Pratt must RSVP
to asist@pratt.edu by Thursday, April
29 in order to gain security clearance.
Copy/Right(?): A Saturday Symposium seeks to address
the influence of copyright, creative commons, and issues of fair use in
conjunction with emerging technologies in library and information
sciences. This event will bring together the best and brightest in the
fields of Copyright Law, Creative Commons, New Media, and Information
Policy to discuss how copyright is affecting the field in ways it never
has before, and what it all means for the Information Science
profession.
