I'm trying to locate research articles on the information-seeking habits activists. I thought that since we deal with nothing but information there would be lots of research out there. Boy, was I wrong. There's lots of non-research bits out there on, for instance, activists using the Internet to find and disseminate information, but it's all very anecdotal. I've searched dbs in LIS, political science, sociology, etc. to no end. If you have any ideas you could pass along, they would be gratefully received.
