Deceased Katrina Victims Released to Families
These news releases are updated regularly; look at the most recent, then click on the word "attachment" in the "Released Bodies" paragraph for a list of names. This site says that it plans to include the dead from other states in the future.

New Orleans Death Records
The New Orleans Times-Picayune newspaper allows you to search for death notices published for the past 180 days; scroll down to "Search Options" and browse by day or search by name.

I also found mention that the New Orleans Times-Picayune published a list on October 8th, but their free archives only seem to go back 14 days. If you are a member of a public or academic library, you may be able to get a copy of this article through inter-library loan/document delivery.
