I'm working on an article about the extraditions of five Americans to Canada to face charges related to a Black Bloc at the 2010 Toronto G20. Part of the article is looking into the exceptional nature of extraditions for charges that mostly consist of vandalism. I have been unable thusfar to find any information about how many Americans have been extradited to foreign countries, and for what sorts of crimes they are typically extradited. I have contacted the US Marshalls, the Dept of State, and the Bureau of Statistics to no avail. Any ideas?
Thanks

Answer
Information Exchange Network for Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters and Extradition might be a place to start. They have a lot of information regarding extradition between the US and Canada.
I also found an article that lists cases of extradition by subject, but you will need to look at the cases themselves in Federal and/or state reporters that can be found in public law libraries.
