Where would one find databases or lists of paid fellowship programs (national or international) for activists, academics, journalists or analysts concerned with human rights, social, economic or environmental justice? Thank you.

There's Idealist. You can search their database and limit results to paid opportunities. You can specify areas of focus (women, poverty and hunger, housing and homelessness, etc.). There are also search boxes for keywords and location.

I haven't found a comparable database for fellowships, but internet searching does yield results. You'll just have to comb through them. Holler again if you need help with key words.
