The NoRNC Clearinghouse invites you to a Anti-RNC Informational Open House

WHEN: Thursday, August 26th at 7:30pm

Where: St Marks Church: 2nd Ave @ 10th Street

Dozens of groups organizing events against the Republican National Convention and related infamies will converge at Saint Mark's Church, to share information, answer questions, and mobilize New York.

Groups tabling include United for Peace and Justice, Indymedia, Still We Rise, Code Pink, Theaters Against War, Billionaires for Bush, Kensington Welfare Rights Union, NY Youth Bloc, NY Peoples¹ Law Collective, Rise We Rise!; RNC Not Welcome; Times up!...

Groups wishing to table are encouraged to bring their own tables as space is very limited, as well as paper weights -- cuz if the weather is nice we will table outside.

There will be a workshop for affiliated people that want to learn how to > form affinity groups to keep each other safe during the week of protests.

Street theater groups are encouraged to bring performances.

WELCOME PARTY FOR THE DNC2RNC MARCH!

With performances by David Rovics, Ryan Harvey, Evan Greer and the Prince Myskins. Donations requested to offset march expenses.

The DNC 2 RNC March - Democracy Uprising! Will arrive in NYC on the 26th, having completed a 276-mile march traveling from the DNC to the RNC, in an effort to move beyond the duality of electoral politics and to celebrate grassroots activism and community awareness.
