Radical Reference encourages students in LIS programs to form local collectives at their institutions. Membership is free, and groups have total autonomy, though they are welcome to seek help or advice from other RR volunteers or collectives as they choose. Radical Reference NYC presents a salon discussion on effecting change in librarianship. Sunday, September 23 at 5pm How do you launch an alternative press collection, develop a radical films series, organize a union, start a group (like Radical Reference), etc? Come hear how others have achieved their pet projects and brainstorm new ideas and ways of implementing them. |

Tenant resources workshop – Melissa G. is organizing. Space and time being confirmed, and Melissa G. will post to list. Most likely will not be officially co-sponsored by Radref depending on space, but RR volunteers plan to attend to be trained. |
